Ask for a corner table on the terrace around 19:30. The sun drops behind the hills, the harbour lights come up, and dinner takes as long as you want it to.
Dinner for two on the water
The classic order is a shared plate of mussels or crudo, one large fish grilled over charcoal and filleted at the table, and a bottle of white. Dessert is baklava with two spoons.
Tables on the outer edge of the terrace have the most open view of the bay. They are limited, so mention 'sunset table' when you book and we will do our best.
Anniversaries and proposals
Tell us in advance and we will keep the quietest table, chill the wine and bring dessert with a candle. We do not stage anything loud unless you ask for it — most guests want the moment to stay private.
For proposals, arrive slightly before sunset; the light on the Ionian between 19:00 and 20:00 in summer is the reason people remember the evening.

We can serve dessert with a candle and hold anything you bring. Give us a day's notice for larger arrangements.
Is the terrace quiet in the evening?
It is a promenade terrace, so there is life around it, but the outer tables are calm and there is no loud music.
