Sarandë faces west across the channel, which is why its sunsets are the reason people stay an extra night. Our terrace looks straight into it.
Timing the light
In July and August the sun sets around 20:20–20:40; in May and September closer to 19:30–20:00; in winter around 17:30. Book roughly an hour before, so you are seated with a drink as the colour starts.
Golden hour on the water lasts about forty minutes, then the harbour lights take over and the terrace becomes a candlelit room.
What to drink and eat
Start with a spritz or a glass of Shesh i Bardhë and something from the sea to share. Order the whole fish once the light has gone — the grill takes twenty minutes and you will not want to miss the sky for a plate.
Sunset tables on the outer terrace are limited. Mention 'sunset' in your WhatsApp booking and we will note it.

No, there is no surcharge. They are simply limited, so book early in high season.
