Krahu i Shqiponjës is a seaside restaurant on the Sarandë waterfront in southern Albania — fresh Ionian catch, wood-fired lamb, house pasta and cold cellar wines, served under the last gold of the Albanian sun.

A decade on the waterfront.

Named for the eagle on the Albanian flag, Krahu i Shqiponjës has watched the harbor light shift over ten summers. We source fish from the boats docked steps away, olive oil from the hills behind Sarandë, and wine from small growers across the Adriatic.

The kitchen is Mediterranean at heart - Italian discipline, Albanian soul, Greek warmth. Every plate is meant for a long table, an unrushed evening, and one more bottle.
