Ionian meets Italy
Italian Food in Sarandë
Corfu is on the horizon and Puglia is across the water — Sarandë has always eaten with one eye on Italy. Our kitchen cooks pasta, risotto and crudo alongside the Albanian menu.
Pasta, risotto and crudo
Risotto is made to order with seafood or vegetables and takes the time it takes — worth the wait. Crudo is cut only when the fish justifies it. Pasta is finished in the pan with the sauce, never dressed after the fact.
Aperitivo runs from late afternoon: spritz, olives, cheese and bread as the promenade fills up.
The wine list
Italian whites and rosés sit next to Albanian Kallmet and Shesh i Bardhë. The staff will match a bottle to whole grilled fish or to a ragù without pushing you up the list.
Coffee is Italian-style espresso, served until closing.
Every day 10:00 – 23:30
