Fresh Seafood in Sarandë
Whole fish, prawns, octopus and shell mussels landed by Sarandë fishermen and cooked the same day at Krahu i Shqiponjës — the waterfront seafood restaurant on the Albanian Riviera.
From the boats to the terrace
The menu at Krahu i Shqiponjës follows the Ionian season. Whole seabass and gilthead bream are grilled over charcoal or baked in salt; prawns and langoustines hit the plancha with garlic and lemon; octopus is slow-cooked until tender. Everything is priced in Albanian Lek.
Pair a whole fish with a bottle from our Italian & Albanian wine list and finish with baklava and house desserts. For a full walkthrough of the seafood section, jump to the fish & seafood menu.
About our Ionian seafood
What we serve, where it comes from and how to book a seafood table.
Where does your seafood come from?
The Ionian Sea in front of the restaurant. We buy the daily catch from Sarandë fishermen — seabass, gilthead bream, prawns, octopus, squid and mussels arrive fresh each morning.
Do you serve whole fish?
Yes. Whole seabass and gilthead are grilled over charcoal or baked in salt. Ask the kitchen for the day's boats — the specials board changes with the sea.
What's your signature seafood dish?
Seafood linguine with the day's catch and our shell mussels served under a copper pan are the two most-ordered plates on the terrace.
Do you take seafood platter reservations for groups?
Yes — call +355 69 442 2794 at least 24 hours ahead for a mixed grill or acqua pazza built for 4–10 guests.
