How to reach Krahu i Shqiponjës.
From the Corfu ferry, Tirana Airport, Ksamil, or Butrint — every route to our terrace on the Sarandë promenade.

Where we are on the Sarandë promenade
Krahu i Shqiponjës sits on Rruga Butrinti, on the northern stretch of the Sarandë waterfront in southern Albania. The terrace looks straight out over the Ionian toward Corfu — an easy landmark to spot from the seafront road. GPS pin: 39.8756° N, 20.0055° E.
From the Corfu ferry (5 min walk)
Passenger and car ferries from Corfu Town dock at Sarandë Port. Turn left as you exit customs and follow the palm-lined promenade north for about 400 metres — the restaurant is on your right, terrace facing the sea. No taxi needed; the walk is flat and lit at night.
From Tirana Airport (TIA) — ~4h drive
The fastest route is the SH4 south to Fier, then the SH8 coastal road through Vlorë, over the Llogara Pass, and down to Sarandë. Expect 4 to 4.5 hours by car or private transfer. Buses run twice daily from Tirana's South & North Terminal (~6 hours). Book a transfer to drop you at Rruga Butrinti in front of the restaurant.
From Ksamil (20 min)
Ksamil is 15 km south. Municipal buses run every 30–60 minutes in summer along the SH81 and stop at Sarandë's central promenade — a 5-minute walk from us. Taxis are €10–15 one way. Coming for dinner from a beach day? Aim for a 20:00 reservation so you catch the golden hour on the terrace.
From Butrint National Park (30 min)
Head north on the SH81 through Ksamil back to Sarandë. Buses to Sarandë leave the Butrint gate roughly hourly; taxis are €20–25. It's the natural end to a UNESCO day trip — see our Butrint guide for timing so you arrive hungry.
Parking, taxis & drop-off
Free street parking is available along Rruga Butrinti after 19:00; earlier in the day, use the paid lot 100 m north. Taxis and private drivers can pull directly in front of the restaurant for drop-off. If you're arriving by scooter or e-bike, park along the promenade railing.
