Espresso & Turkish

Coffee in Sarandë

Albanians take coffee seriously and slowly. A macchiato on the promenade can legitimately last an hour, and nobody will ask you to move.

What to order

Espresso and macchiato are the local default, served small and strong. Cappuccino is a morning drink here. Turkish coffee, unfiltered and served with a glass of water, is the traditional finish to a meal.

Fresh orange juice, herbal teas and iced coffee are on the same list, plus pastries and fruit in the morning.

Coffee culture on the promenade

Coffee is a social appointment, not a takeaway habit. Tables turn slowly; conversations run long. Our terrace is at its quietest between 10:00 and 12:00 and again mid-afternoon.

There is no minimum spend to sit — a coffee and the bay is a complete order.
